I paint the people,animals and objects I find around me.

My two most beloved and influential artists are Chardin and Bonnard.

Bonnard said of his surroundings and family "I go and look at them. I take notes. Then I go home. And before I start painting I reflect, I dream."

This is very much my own working method. Sketching and filling drawing books is very important, but so is dreaming
